Spring Urges Video, One Unsated Hater
Dear Sillies,
Wait, I was going to explain the poor timing. It was filmed in late April for a local radio station fundraiser; I'm just now getting the video. I'm also just now realizing it's still Spring for a handful more days. Right? Whoosh. Not too late to share.
One person disliked it. Seriously? Only one? (I have haters. They hate my bold, feminine honesty and local fight for justice.) Clearly, their urges have yet to be sated.
Cheers, my dears.

Spring Kugel, Reasons for Celibacy, Matzah Crack
Alas, spring hath sprung. With its entrance, may your spirits be lifted. I always appreciate - as much as rain is needed in California - the feeling of the sun warming my face.
And we've a few holidays around the bend. My people celebrate Passover soon. We Jews love a good kugel too; during Passover, that would take the form of a matzah kugel. By matzah, I'm referring to a very bland big cracker. By kugel, I'm referring to a mix of tasty things - like quiche, only enjoyable.
That said, on with my kugel post...
Naturally, my favorite way to flavor matzah is to drown it in chocolate. We playfully call chocolate matzah "matzah crack" --it's that addicting.
This store bought Israeli Chocolate Covered Matzah, though, missed the mark. The chocolate was chipping off in large pieces, and there's not enough chocolate to drown out the non-taste of the tasteless matzah. Thus, I was disappointed. I'd have to give this a 4 on a 1-10 scale. The intent was sweet, and it's kosher, but don't be tempted to buy this product.
I do very strongly advise that you find and devour some home-or-bakery made matzah crack. You will LOVE it. I promise.

Otherwise, Dude Three and Skanky are still neighbors. I'm working, friends, on being tall - as you suggested. I've gotta tell you, though, it's not easy. Nor is it natural for me. In fact, it's simply not possible. Have you seen me? I'm only 4'8". But I love you, and I understand the sentiment, so I shall keep working on growth.

And finally, three more reasons for a straight, single gal like me to remain celibate. What's in bold was lifted directly from personal ads. What's italicized was added by me. Enjoy.
REASON #18: Looking for down to earth girl next door.
Dude, did you think to knock? If that doesn’t work, try the doorbell.
REASON #19: Goals dont have any
Somehow, I’m not motivated to pursue you.
This one, Mr. Cemeteries, is my all-time favorite.
REASON #20: need to drop about 20lb Don't drop it on your foot, babe. That could hurt. like to meet some one to see the sights with have a good dinner with, to go any further than that it all depends on the cemeteries we have, Really? ‘Cuz mutual cemeteries can kill a relationship. I think if the cemeteries is good the rest can fail. I take it you're both a planner and a plotter, is that right?

Take care of yourselves.
Keep a smile and a stash of the sweet stuff.

Peep Show!
Since I'm not doing the A-Z Challenge this year, I thought I'd attract new followers through a suggestive post title. And could there be a more sacred week for a Peep Show? Passover starts on Monday night, 4/10. This celebration of freedom, with a focus on compassion for the oppressed, lasts for eight days. So Passover overlaps this year with Good Friday and Easter. Woohoo!
Now, the real reason for this post: chocolate samplings.
There's a chocolate covered Peep on the left, and a chocolate dipped macaroon* on the right. (*coconut cookie that's a traditional Passover dessert)
Adults tend to either hate or really hate Peeps. Aside from the outrageously loud, carcinogenic-like coloring and the annoyingly sweet, sticky innards, what's there to hate? I loved my Peep.
I'm also posting this for all the people who drop by and say "Visit me" numerous times in various languages. Yet they never follow my blog or buy my books, which I'm kind enough to inform them of numerous times. However, they tend to praise me for my informative posts. Granted, I take credit for my achievements, but an educational blog is not one of them.
Have a great week, dears. Okay, you've been warned...
This one's for you, creepster peeps.

Mint Chocolate Matzah, The Latest in Chocolate: Happy Passover!
It's Passover, time to celebrate our many freedoms. Rich traditions and delicious foods make this holiday a favorite of Jews and non-Jews alike.
Ever try chocolate covered matzah?
We eat the Matzah cracker during Passover. Generally, Matzah is flavorless.
But Osem's Israeli Mint Chocolate Covered Matzah....oy vey, it's so good, I'm telling you. This you should eat, eat and eat some more! The mint is prominent and blends nicely with the chocolate. Mint's good about doing that. The matzah adds a necessary crunch factor. Furthermore, this matzah is extra holy, kosher for Passover, and --by my estimation-- essential in order to experience the sweetness of freedom. Matzah is generally pricy compared to - say - Saltines, because of all that's involved in its preparation. This matzah is no exception, though it's worth the five dollars I paid for a box of five large pieces/servings. I found it at Safeway.
I give Osem's Chocolate Mint Israeli Matzah a 10 out of 10. [I'm a bit scared of docking it and thus needing to answer to a Higher Authority.]
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~PART II.
I can't think of an appropriate transition from the subject of Passover to my uterus, so I'll just make the leap. Last year at this time, I had a major health scare that necessitated a full hysterectomy. My semi-humorous piece about the process is in competition. I HATE asking favors; you're all swamped. But the winner gets money. I like money. So if you'd kindly "like" my article by clicking the facebook icon under it HERE, you'll increase my chances of winning. Comments help too, but I'm just needing more "likes" right now. Thanks so much!
Happy Passover, Springtime, and almost-Easter.
Appreciate your freedoms and, perhaps, chocolate mint covered matzah.
