May it bring you warmth and safety, along with moments of:
This one of locks with names and loving sentiment is for the beautiful Lux. She writes with deep sincerity about life, love, and all the big issues worth pondering.
Speaking of love, yeah - he was on my mind the whole time. When I had one opportunity to use the Internet, I messaged Dude Three:
"Having a wonderful time. I miss you. Hope all's well."
Three: "I think about you every day. Glad you're having fun, can't wait to see you."
Yippee!
I was going to advertise this FREE SHOP (also in Mykonos) to anyone in the market. Then, I thought of Rosey. She gives free things away all the time. It's only fair that you get this FREE SHOP, Rosey! Enjoy it and all the cute, trendy clothes. Note the nice panties by the sign.
This flag is for good Martha, the best Martha there is.
I think you have Greek in you, is that right, Martha? May you wave this flag proudly.
When I returned, Dude Three was the first to know.
His response: "I thought you were coming back tomorrow. Can't see you today. Maybe tomorrow. Friday for sure."
Was that it? Is it over already?
Me: "Not sure what to make of this, feeling insecure. Trying not to be too disappointed. Friday's good, was hoping for sooner."
Three: "No reason to be insecure. I missed you girl. Can't wait to see you. We'll have a nice few days together this weekend."
Phew! Phew?? We shall see...
Love you, my Silliest of Sillies.
Take care of yourselves.
He's making me nervous. I love the photo of you with your gorgeous smile.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Thank you.
DeleteLove.
Love the photos. And my suspicions of Dude Three are growing.
ReplyDeleteI thought that was it with Dude Three, but...
DeleteAnd the other shoe is just about ready to drop I'm suspecting. lol Rosey can have lots of fun now with all the free.
ReplyDeleteHa. Maybe it is, maybe not.
DeleteYes, Rosey wins a really nice store.
That's either a sign or like most guys, he just can't keep his dates straight.
ReplyDeleteSo, what was in the free shop?
Yeah, I actually realized I'd told him I'd be gone for two weeks. It wasn't quite two weeks. Or/and maybe it's a sign.
DeleteThe free shop is really nice, fashionable clothes. How cool is that - all seemingly free. Smiles.
I'm still feeling okay - tough to keep track of time changes. It's gotta be happiness - you stood under the sign.
ReplyDeleteHere's to a super week of December!
A super week to you too, my friend.
DeleteThree sounds promising!!
ReplyDeleteHe does, doesn't he?
DeleteThanks, Fishducky.
The plot thickens! Love that photo of you in front of the portal to Happiness, lol! And those panties on display -- makes me think of this store in Maui called "Panties in Paradise."
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty funny. The panties look too small for me, but hopefully, they're the right size for Rosey.
DeleteThanks, Debra.
I love that first photo!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mitchell.
DeleteYou look so happy beneath that Happiness sign!
ReplyDeleteFortunately, the store isn't called "Misery."
DeleteThe Mediterranean area seems to agree with you. I think I could be happy there. If I missed someone even a little I would be at the airport to pick them up.
ReplyDeleteOh, Jono, I've moved the bar so low, I didn't even think about that. The airport is almost 2 hours away too. But I do miss those days when that was the proper thing to do - a woman could almost expect it. I'm lying. I never had those days. It would be so nice.
DeleteYes, why wasn't he at the airport to get you? Hmmm...
ReplyDeleteSee above, Diane. Long gone are the days of the airport pick-up. I never had one. Well, girlfriends and I have done that for each other. Yeah, hmmm...
DeleteWait, was the shop itself free? Or just everything inside?
ReplyDeleteThat's not a very practical business model...
(E-mail coming soon. Just been very busy)
Unless it's false advertising, Bryan, the whole enchilada is FREE! I assume that if you can't fit into those panties, though, you won't be able to return them. There's always a catch.
DeleteBest hopes for success with Dude Three, Robyn. December is full of wind here today --your town too?-- our yard looks like invisible giants are thrashing in the trees. My fingertips are nearly numb from trying to shove them away.
ReplyDeleteNot quite as windy, but chilly and breeze here too.
DeleteUgh. Stay warm and safe, Geo.
Ok...men can be daft with dates but unless his work hours are difficult, why wouldn’t he be there right away? Did he call you to hear your voice or was this just texting? Maybe I am showing some age but I would not be happy that he just texted and didn’t call me and want to talk to me. When I met my present hubby, it was fast but he came home from his work shift at 12:30 am and he called me right away! We would 5alk until 3am and when we got together( knuck, knuck) he told me to call him if I went somewhere and to call him when I returned. The jury is out.
ReplyDeleteYou're right about it all, Birgit. Especially at first, that excitement about seeing and talking needs to be there. In his defense, I told him I'd return in 2 weeks, and I was back one day sooner. But still, I agree with what your saying. Daftness included.
DeleteGreat photos. I don't know what to make of Dude 3, but remember to enjoy life and not to wait for him or anyone else.
ReplyDeleteNo, but once I'm attached, I fall fast.
DeleteThank you for the Sage advice. =)
I hope Dude three does not turn out to be a Dud. Beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Connie.
DeleteHAHA! Yes, I do have Greek in me. Both parents, actually. They came to Canada separately in the late 50s as young adults and got married in my hometown of Montreal.
ReplyDeleteThe suspense continues to grow with dude number three.I'm curious to know what happens but I hope it's good.
Yay! I knew it - well, for once, I guessed correctly. A Greek Canadian - no wonder you're so sweet and caring.
DeleteI think it's so awesome you got to go to Greece. What a lovely place to vacation!! Even better when they have free shops...though I'm not sure those underwear would be a good fit for me. ;) Speaking of a 'good fit,' hurrah that your #3 sounds like he might be!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rosey. Yeah, those panties are pretty smile for most or many women. Greece is fabulous. Enjoy the shop, if not the panties.
DeleteSmiles.
So far, December has been mild (at least the weather), but, as we all know...
ReplyDeleteWinter Is Coming.
Oy vey, Winter hasn't come yet? Al, I'm such a spoiled Californian. I'm whiney when it's under 75, and it's been in the 40s. Brrr.
DeleteI was feeling anxious for you!
ReplyDeleteThat was not the proper response, and he should have known better. Hopefully, he will improve.
Let's hope. Yeah, it was a real disappoint to get home and realize he wasn't excited to see me immediately. Things might improve. But will they stay improved??
DeleteThanks, Pat.
Number three... hmmm You'd think he'd make more of an effort..but I guess things do happen....
ReplyDeleteGlad you had such a good time though. Mykonos is pretty cool isnt it. Hard to have a bad time there. :)
PS Thinking of you over near LA. Seeing some bad pictures. Scary stuff bushfire. Just saw that movie Only the Brave. Powerful stuff.
Take care dear
xo
Thanks, hon. I'm no where near LA, though I'll be there fairly soon. It's very scare.
DeleteTake care, too, friend.
you're doing an awesome job here, keep it up
