    Yes! Thanks to the Rebels! Love this picture where you look like you just came back from the beach or pool! No car seat or seat belt on sight!

      No car seat or seatbelt - you're right, Birgit. We were headed for the Marina Beach in Southern California. It was a regular destination - we loved it.

      It's special beyond special. Who knew when dad snapped the shot that decades later, it'd go "viral"? We'd have been scared it would bring on a pandemic or something. Oh, wait...

    Back in the day when car seats were not needed and seatbelts didn't ding you if they weren't on. Great picture. And go rebels indeed. Did a lot we take for granted.
