To all who celebrate Thanksgiving, enjoy your feast. To all, I appreciate you.
May you be thankful for too much to say, and generous with leftovers.

  1. lol can't go wrong with seconds and thirds, until you see Martha's head, then things may go dead.

  2. clever. So nice to see so many gathered around your feast. I think Martha's been spraying the whipped cream into her mouth. Have a good long weekend, Robyn.

  3. Aw, an image of Ahnold. What a buzz kill! But I do love your sacred Thanksgiving poetry. It's like being with the Puritans.

    1. No, but I melted chocolate chips in with my sweet potatoes. Mmm mm. Does that sound weird? Probably. It's yummy, though.
      Thanks, Dixie.

  12. Terrific and forceful verse! And the picture of Arnold is well-placed. He turned out to be a lot better governor than I thought he'd be --certainly better than Darrell Issa who got poor bookish and beloved Gray Davis recalled. The Kennedys sent Schwarzenegger in to save our butts and I'm still thankful for that. Thankful for your fine online company too, Robyn. My compliments and admiration.

    1. I appreciate you very much too, Geo.

Also, I just want to say that I think Arnie is a big turkey. Thus his placement near the top. Smiles.

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.

  16. You are brilliant! I love your saucy poems which could give new meaning to butter balled turkeys but I also love the pictures all around it especially the flabby mid section of good ole Martha

  17. I hope you're going to recite this poem in public so men can look into your eyes when you say "I squeeze and baste". It might cause some of them to howl like wolves!
