It's Still Halloween Around Here, Sundays in My City

UnknownMami hosts a fascinatingly scenic party on Sundays. Go here to appreciate how small and special this blog world is.

Welcome to Chico, CA. We're still in Halloween mode.

Meet Mojo, the perfect Halloween cat.
 Meet my friendly neighbors.

                 Photogenic autumn leaves abound.

If you can't make pumpkin pie, might as well make money. (I'd rather have the pie.)

Thanks for stopping by. Have a safe, warm and peaceful new week.

  1. I wish it was still Halloween around here. Tonight-tonight!-I saw "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" on TBS.
It was the cartoon version with Boris Karloff, but, still.....a Christmas special???

  2. Are your friendly neighbours standing on a bonfire? That used to be how the English celebrated Nov 5th.

  6. Beautiful pix, Robyn! Love the leaves. I love the smell of them, too. Soon enough, all we will smell in Ohio is sludge.

  7. I would fit in.
I still have my pirate skeleton sitting out. :)

  8. I'm stretching out Halloween here, too. I like to call it Fall Festival.

  9. Julie, let Fall Festival continue into winter!

Thank you, friends. Wouldn't it be nice just to skip the bigger holidays and have fall-Halloween-harvest celebrations instead?

  12. Yes, have a great week. Maybe my birthday should be celebrated in your town, since they celebrate long after the event!

  13. I think that first picture is terrifying.

  15. If we left pumpkins out for that long here, they’d either have rotted, squirrels would have done a number on them or we’d have experienced the “smashing pumpkins” phenomenon. (Not referring to the musical group but to roving bunches of boys...)

  16. Never thought of selling my pumpkins after Halloween. I'm sure someone buys them for pies and such. Nice pictures. Love the cat.

  17. Your neighbors don't look like trouble - that's a plus!

  18. Oh yeah, it's full on Christmas spirit around here. At least in the malls and on TV. Aren't pumpkins VERY overpriced? Don't get me wrong, because I love Halloween, but I'd really like to be put into a coma the day after and not be revived until the day after Valentine's Day.

  19. I'm with you on that one, Pat, with a caveat: the coma shall be chocolate induced.

    Good point, Alex.

    Thanks for the follow, Jerzey.

Kristin, it is pretty cute. I'm pretty sure it's a joke but I don't know if they'd turned down an offer of payment.
