Welcome, My Sillies! Together we'll uncover morsels of sweetness in the light and dark. You'll crave chocolate. I'm a naughty influence. {Note: I avoid Hershey's but partake in regular fixes of fair trade and organic varieties.} Please enjoy a ravenous sampling, and may you fast become addicted. Cheers to all things sweet. That, Dear Sillies, includes you.
There's our Janie Junebug, owned by Franklin and Penelope - We all love this Junebug's saucy wit and heartfelt hilarity.
There's this regular, non-saucy June Bug ~ red-brown beetles that move around frenetically in the Northern Hemisphere on warm evenings.
There's the Beaver's sweet and innocent Mommy, June Cleaver (actress Barbara Billingsley)
It's my Birthday month too.
For those who read this far, remember when I told you that I did a naughty performance in Lake Tahoe? Psst, this link should take you there. I warned ya.
Dear June, I've known you were coming. It's no secret. For 11 months now, you slept on the side-lines. Yet you still managed to barge in unexpectedly. How'd you do that? I like you, kinda. Then again, you bring the start of miserably hot weather. You make me a year older, over which I have no say. As far as all the months go, though, you are one of the best and prettiest. You also remind us of the importance of not going too rough on the Beaver. You're really quite special that way. So make yourself comfortable, but please don't overstay your welcome. Thanks. Have a safe, inspiring, special June, my Dear Sillies.
The June Bug ~ red-brown beetles that we tend to see here in the Northern Hemisphere during warm evenings.
Please excuse my grab for low hanging fruit today (as if I never otherwise do so). Then again, I suspect Al Penwasser won't mind.
Be well, and take care of yourselves.
Look out for the June Bug
Urban Dictionary's top definition: June Bug ~ Little brown beetles famous for thier incesant bumping into porch lights and houses on a late spring to summer evening. Often tries to sneak into houses, either by flying right in when the door is open, or by hitching a ride on somebody's clothes like a little ninja. Harmless to humans and cannot bite. Despite thier name, they can come out as early as May. Shut that door before you let all the june bugs in!
