Dear Sillies,
Can you feel the angst in the air? We'll be okay. We'll survive the election outcome and the insanity that will likely ensue into 2025. Sigh.
Meanwhile, I hope this (new poem) provides a bit of tempting distraction.
Please enjoy and be good to yourselves!
Love you.
Sadly I cannot read your poem (print too small for my aging eyes). I continue to hope on your election front. Fervently.
ReplyDeleteDrats. Thanks for telling me. I'm sorry - yeah, the whole thing's too dark and small. I think if you click on it, it's readable. (?) I will make improvements for the future.
DeleteTake care, EC.
I admit I'm having difficulty enjoying anything because my stress over the election is off the charts, but thanks for sharing your poem.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Hi Hon, I know. I know. Nail biting. Love and hope to you and the world!
DeleteFall is great because it's one step away from Winter, my favorite.
ReplyDeleteYes, Winter's so much more exciting. Thanks for chiming in, Alex.
DeleteFall is probably my favourite season but I draw the line at getting my nether femme sections involved with it. Those crunchy dry leaves are TOO scratchy, thank you very much.
ReplyDeleteYou get more colors over there than we do in CA.
DeleteThe nether femme sections are ever worthy of protection. Cheers.
I have learned a new euphemism - nether femme sections. Now I’ll have to find a way to use it!
ReplyDeleteLet me know how that goes, David. Smiles.
DeleteCan't roll in leaves here - too many bugs! LOL
ReplyDeleteYuck. Yeah, I forgot to mention those buggy bugs in this one. Be well, Diane.
DeleteAhh, yes, fall which captures such beauty in death. The leaves are about to die and everything feels good one minute and icky the next. I never want my female nether regions by all the leaves and dirt. Bugs near there is a complete turn off.speaking of bugs..let's hope the orange one doesn't creep back.
ReplyDeleteYou describe everything so flavorfully, Birgit. Thank you. Yes on keeping the orange one away for good. Oy, fingers and toes crossed.
DeleteFall tends to be my favorite season, although winter is a close second! I was able to read the poem, but it took more concentration because the background was so busy. Yet, the poem's border set the stage for the poem.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the feedback. Yeah, I need to go with plain white paper, bigger font, shorter poems maybe...this one was a new one, and I kinda let myself go astray.
DeleteThank you, Jeff.
I just love seasons. As I'm tiring of one, the next quarter brings that "change". Always more obvious in PA with the weather. Texas we move from the brown to green and back again season. Kinda ugly. Your poem is awesome. And sigh - best to just chat about the weather, not sob into our spiced drinks. Take care!
ReplyDeleteThe weather's the easier topic these days. Sigh, sigh. Thank you, Joanne. Take care over there too.
