Hello my Dear Silliest of Sillies,
Halloween - it's the most sweet and naughty holiday of them all. Right?
Hopefully, you're prepping for a delightfully frightful night, even if this means shutting the lights off and going to bed early (with or without a companion).
Love you, Sweet Sillies.

I see you're bound and determined to corrupt YET ANOTHER POPE, Robyn! I hope your Halloween is full of chocolate deliciousness!
ReplyDeleteI'm mean, DebSWS, Leo's so cute and so...69.
DeleteThank you. Be well.
You covered almost every candy bar - well done. Your best one yet.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Alex. Your praise means the world.
DeleteCheers and happy almost Halloween.
Big Hunk! Not many remember that one.
ReplyDeleteWe have a fun candy shoppe with lots of old fashioned options like the Big Hunk. It's not as good as it sounds, but I can't ever forget that name.
DeleteHappy Halloween, Diane.
Should've had this one to memorize back when I was in school instead of the tiny one featuring only five candy bars. Excellent work. Sadly, no NECCO or Smarties.
ReplyDeleteOh, Smarties. Yes, those are yummy. I've seen NECCO but never tried them. Will add that to my bucket list. Or should I? Thanks GB!
DeleteHow I love the way you wrapped or, unwrapped, thoe where's of chocolates. We used to get the big ones, but now, they are very small. Those small chocolate covered nuts never impress the devil in me. I love smarties, I eat the blue and purple ones last, and loved the Big Turk and give me some rockets that make me want more. I love your poem and all it's hungry thoughts just never give me Candy corn or these ugly caramels nor peanuts. Thankfully the small peanuts are out of fashion
ReplyDeleteI know, Birgit! Who wants small nuts? Those puny ones get old fast, right? And shrinkage over time, that's a reality. A depressing one. Thank goodness there remain some Big Hunks and Big Turks around.
DeleteLove ya, silly lady.
I keep screaming "Oh Henry", but those bars are long gone. Superb poem on chocolate sins galore. Leo is praying for your soul (and maybe a Ding Dong). Happy Halloween!
ReplyDeleteOh my sweet Leo. They need to create an Oh Leo bar now. I'll get on it. Smiles.
DeleteHappy Halloween time, Joanne.
