Celebration of Lights! Happy Hanukah!

Dear Sillies,

It's Hanukah, the Festival of Lights! May each of us shine so brightly within our respective spheres that our collective brilliance touches the Holy Land and all points on earth.

Love to you!

Be warm. Be well. Shine brightly.

  3. Happy HanuKAT, Robyn! Say, do you have any leftover gefilte fish from your celebrations? I'd glady swing by your place and take it off your hands.

    1. Haha. I don't, but I'll make you some. Nah, that's too involved. I'll buy some at Safeway for you, though. You're special and worthy.

  7. Happy Hanukah, Robyn! Lights are rather dim the world over, so we will have to become the light we need, right? Just like a man, I sent you the Kindle of my latest, and probably my last book, SAME AS IT NEVER WAS, for a holiday gift. I hope you got it ... if not ... well, that is a blessing for you! Only happiness for your future!

    1. How kind and generous you are, Roland. Thanks so much. I still don't have a kindle or means to read ebooks. I'm forever loyal to paper copies.
      You're a true gem.
      Blessings to you always.

  9. Hannukah is past, yet the menorah is still lit in the window (next to the Christmas tree. We're a multi-denominational household). I cherish the spirit, joy, and love they represent.
    Beautiful picture, by the way.

    1. Thank you, Al. I enjoy celebrating both myself, especially with my interfaith family this year. I still have my menorah and dreidles, etc. on my kitchen table.
Love to you and your multi-denominational family.

    2. I'm wearing my "Jewdolph" tee shirt as I write. I also insisted that our Hannukah decorations remain up until the Christmas decorations come down. She told me that Hanukkah was over. Not the beauty of the holidays, I replied.

  10. If we shine brightly perhaps things in middle east would be less treacherous. Peace, I wonder if we'll see it in our life times. Happy Hannukah to you and yours.
