Spring Flings & Unholy Erotica

The organizers of the A-Z Challenge have granted us Sundays off for "good behavior". Surely, I haven't earned it, not with all the raucous Stewy's been creating - that *bleep*! I'll give you a break from her, though. Have a wonderful Easter, (continued) Passover, Spring Sunday...Enjoy.

  1. You couldn't have written this poem, Robyn. I refuse to believe your basket's vast and empty! Maybe you wrote it for someone else. ;)

    1. Maybe it's because I'm Jewish that my basket's vast and empty, GB. It can float a baby on the Nile.

  3. I'm not celebrating Easter today (our Easter is next weekend), so I'm free of sin for chuckling through this :) I think...

I hope you get chocolate eggs both weekends.

  4. Smiling! No matzoh balls at my in law's Easter dinner, but I am putting out kosher cheese, kosher for Passover potato chips, and, of course, matzoh! Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

    1. Good for you, Alana. I don't know if I've had kosher cheese. I imagine it tastes just as good as non-kosher cheese. Potato chips are always good. Have a yummy Easter.

    1. Thanks, Stephen. I'm enjoying sitting on my couch, comforter wrapped around me, listening to the rain. Or is it wind? Rain, rain, come and stay! (Went to seders the past two nights.)

      Enjoy.

  6. This is so deliciously, blasphemously awesome. And I love that it's posted on the Sabbath, at that. A day of rest is best spent in bed, after all...

    1. Yes, and actually sex is considered a mitzvah (good deed) on the Sabbath. My people don't frown upon (consensual, monogamous) sex. You'd think that fact alone would attract many converts.

Thanks much for your visit. Enjoy.

    1. Haha. Thanks, JoJo.
I'm going to stay inside for a while, lest I get struck for lightening for writing and posting this. I read it at Open Mic too. The room was strangely quiet, but they did applaud fairly loudly when I finished.

  9. And when they snake offers an apple...?
Say, "No thanks. I have a Snapple."
Hey, it's not much, but it's Easter and I still have some chocolate bunnies to behead.

    1. Yeah, that snake-apple story is rather pornographic, Al. I didn't think about that. Thankfully, my Snapple is kosher.

  11. This is good, I mean bad, I mean, wow. Without using "bad words" (just irreverant thoughts of two religions) you bring unholy desires to mind

    1. Appreciation, Sage. A good, I mean bad, and holy (ie unholy) Easter/day/week to you. Smiles.

  16. I like this poem, much as I like Mevlana's poems addressing the universe as a beloved friend, a lover even. There is a lot to admire in that kind of metaphor. No hell for you, kid --and yes, we got rain down here too!

    1. That's high praise, Geo. I'm honored, and I'll check out Mevlana.

Thank goodness for the rain. It's off and on around here, but at least it's on at times.

    2. PS Mevlana is Rumi? Silly me. I didn't know and am even more complimented. Smiles.

    1. Yeah, carrots make about as much sense in an Easter basket as real eggs. Hope you had a great one, BabySis.

  21. This is what happens when you put gefilte fish and chopped liver on the same plate. Never again, Robyn! This was hysterical! I can't believe you wrote this on your day off. You really should've used this for a three-way; E for Erotica, F for Fantasy,, and G for Gut-wrenchingly Graphic!
