Good Mojo for the New Year!

Greetings from Mojo. (Sorry he's faceless and hard to spot. He's sneaky that way. I can't locate him now for another photo shoot, so this will have to do.)

Tonight, the Jewish community welcomes the year 5772 with apples and honey, song and dance, and prayers for peace throughout the world. Whatever your faith, good mojo to you in the year ahead!

  1. Apples & honey? That sounds like my kind of celebration! What cute cat, Mojo should do a guest review with the other cats over at TNR sometime.

  3. Apples and honey - a good combination for the sweet tooth. Would it be a major faux pas to add a few bitter herbs for seasoning?

  6. Here's to a "L'Shana Tova" ! May you meet some eligible bachelor at one of the synagogue visits...if not chocolate coated apples and almonds can do wonders . :)

  12. Happy Rosh Hashanah post tomorrow. By the way, thanks for letting me know the year. I tried to guess but came up 1,300 years over (You know you're REALLY lazy when you're too lazy to Google, "What is the actual year according to the Jewish calendar").

  17. Shalom to you Angel Robyn! Btw I knew the translation of your last name (took German in school) although it is clear you are an angel with a twist. ;-) I like cats (have had many cats/kittens in the past) yours is cute and very sleek, from my experience the sleek ones tend to be cleaner, and for some reason the furry ones like getting under the cars too much when they're out and end up all oily. Mine used to stay in the outhouse/patio they were originally stray/injured so did not like being in the house all the time.
