Welcome, My Sillies! Together we'll uncover morsels of sweetness in the light and dark. You'll crave chocolate. I'm a naughty influence. {Note: I avoid Hershey's but partake in regular fixes of fair trade and organic varieties.} Please enjoy a ravenous sampling, and may you fast become addicted. Cheers to all things sweet. That, Dear Sillies, includes you.

Good Mojo for the New Year!
Greetings from Mojo. (Sorry he's faceless and hard to spot. He's sneaky that way. I can't locate him now for another photo shoot, so this will have to do.)
Tonight, the Jewish community welcomes the year 5772 with apples and honey, song and dance, and prayers for peace throughout the world. Whatever your faith, good mojo to you in the year ahead!

Apples & honey? That sounds like my kind of celebration! What cute cat, Mojo should do a guest review with the other cats over at TNR sometime.
ReplyDeleteThat is one black cat! Happy Rosh Hashanah!
ReplyDeleteApples and honey - a good combination for the sweet tooth. Would it be a major faux pas to add a few bitter herbs for seasoning?
ReplyDeleteI am all for some good mojo!
ReplyDeleteHappy Rosh Hashanah!
I lost my mojo recently. Clearly I need honey and apples and song and dance.
ReplyDeleteHere's to a "L'Shana Tova" ! May you meet some eligible bachelor at one of the synagogue visits...if not chocolate coated apples and almonds can do wonders . :)
ReplyDeleteI think Mojo needs some mojo!
ReplyDeleteLooks to me like Mojo has celebrated a little too hard. :) Adorable.
ReplyDeleteThank you for all your sweet comments, dearie. I appreciate our friendship.
Wishing good mojo to both you and Mojo in the coming year!
ReplyDeleteHappy Rosh Hashanah!
Oooo le't party like it's 5772 :)
ReplyDeleteI can feel Mojo's excitement, lol!

Happy Rosh Hashanah post tomorrow. By the way, thanks for letting me know the year. I tried to guess but came up 1,300 years over (You know you're REALLY lazy when you're too lazy to Google, "What is the actual year according to the Jewish calendar").
ReplyDeleteThank you all. A sweet and peaceful new beginning (new year, the fall...) to you!

PS You were close, Al.
5772...is that in cat years?? I am not good at religious calendar conversion.
ReplyDeleteHappy Jewish New Year to you! (Is that appropriate? I hope so....)
ReplyDeleteThat kitty is adorable....like you. :)
Aw snap. Now I wanna be Jewish because...
ReplyDelete1. New Year=PARTAY WITH ROBYN!!!
2. Apples & honey sound fabulous
3. I could theoretically potentially hang out with Mojo
Hope your next year is AAAWWWWESOME!
Shalom to you Angel Robyn! Btw I knew the translation of your last name (took German in school) although it is clear you are an angel with a twist. ;-) I like cats (have had many cats/kittens in the past) yours is cute and very sleek, from my experience the sleek ones tend to be cleaner, and for some reason the furry ones like getting under the cars too much when they're out and end up all oily. Mine used to stay in the outhouse/patio they were originally stray/injured so did not like being in the house all the time.
ReplyDeleteHappy Rosh Hashanah to you!! And happy mojo to all as well! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Rosh Hashanah to you too. Mojo is great. I add some apple sauce to chocolate fudge cake and my husband loves it.
ReplyDeleteHappy Rosh Hashanah, my favorite of the Chosen Ones.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Robyn!
ReplyDeleteCheers! Have a good celebration :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Rosh Hashanah!!
ReplyDeletewishing good mojo!
big hugs!
Happy Rosh Hashanah to you as well!!
