On a different note, my posts have not been feeding into the google reader for several weeks. I'd be lying if I said I'm fixing the problem. I don't know what else to try. If anyone has suggestions, that would be wonderful! Thank you.
HAPPY SUNDAY AND FATHER'S DAY!
Welcome to Chico,
where some signs are potentially helpful
and some signs are clearly redundant
and some signs should probably be taken down already.
Great post! That last one is my favorite....ha!
ReplyDeleteFunny signs! I hope your problem with Google Reader is fixed soon. Sorry it's so frustrating. Thanks for all of your great comments! Julie (#400)
ReplyDeleteNice ones...guess they ran out of volunteers to take down the sign or in the case of the second...wishful thinking. Have a good week ahead.
ReplyDeleteI'm very puzzled by the Not An Exit sign. Are they worried people might drive right through it, like stunt performers?
ReplyDeleteLove the last one, lol. Now that's funny~!
ReplyDeleteGreat post. I love the signs. especially large lot. Hmmm? Really now?
ReplyDeleteHahaha!!! Those signs crack me up. I loved them all, but "large lot" really had me giggling. :)
ReplyDeleteFunny! There is a lot of entertainment to be found in signs!
ReplyDeleteLOL, I love these signs, especially that last one. I've seen some doozies around here in Chicago, too. Happy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could help the Google Reader thing, but I'm not very tech savvy. Hope it all works out soon. :)

ReplyDeletefunny signs! the last one cracks me up!

Chico looks like a hoot. Sorry I can't help. I'm having problems myself right now with Blogger. Couldn't you scream? But before you do I just want to say that I've tagged you on my blog :-)

PuttingtheFUN, great to "meet" you. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteEmpty/Julie/my #400,=) thank you.
Rek, yeah, wishful thinking. I'm tempted to take it down (or maybe just drive right through it) myself.
GB, that one IS really random. It's so huge, and it isn't placed where one would think to exit.
Sheila, yeah. I'll have to keep checking to see when/if it comes down.
Laurie & Kelley, that one is hilarious. To think people spent money and time on it.
Tara, thanks.
Darlene, so true!
Melissa, thank you. I'm sure Chicago's got some winners too.
Rosalind, yes.
Betty, really? I'm so glad! Maybe I just need patience - something I'm generally low on. Thank you.
Rosalind, yes! I could just scream! Thank you. I'll hop over over.
Happy Sunday and Father's Day. xo
Hilarious...
ReplyDeleteLarge lot...too funny.
Not an exit, what is up with that?
You are definitely living in an interesting place.
Love ya,
Lisa
You had me at chocolate! These pictures are hilarious. I love funny signs!
ReplyDeleteI love your sense of humor and that you find so much fodder.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry about your feed issues. Do you already use Feedburner? If not, try redirecting your feed through them.
These pictures are hilarious!
ReplyDeleteSadly I should be attending a class called "Google for Dum Dums" because I haven't a clue! Hope you get it fixed soon. Blessings, Joanne
Ha! Terrific SIMC contribution. The signs are perfect and your photo treatments are cool.
ReplyDeleteCheers, jj
YOu know Robyn, maybe that sign about Christ coming in May is still there because the people that put it up, are currently with Christ....just a thought :)
ReplyDeleteHmm, maybe that last sign meant that He'd be coming again...in our hearts?
ReplyDeleteAs you can probably imagine, I'm always on the lookout for signs like these. In fact, I have a picture of one of them on my blog. (HINT: A shameless way for some of your commenters to maybe go take a peek).
ReplyDeleteI love these pictures. The last one is hilarious!
ReplyDeleteLove the signs! I hope your Google problem is fixed soon, I've had issues as well and it's frustrating. Hope you had a great weekend!
ReplyDeletethx rob, heard for two of my three bas... uh, kids... yesterday, so guess i'm ahead :O lol
ReplyDeleteSandra, LOL. I didn't think of that. You're probably right.
ReplyDeleteUnknown, that's a good suggestion. Thanks. I may email you to follow up, since I don't understand this feed thing at all. Thanks, as always, for your great Sunday party.
Al, have no shame. Your blog's great. EVERYONE SHOULD pay a visit and perhaps a follow!
Laughing, 2 out of 3 is good odd.
Have a good week, everyone. xo
Hi Robyn,
ReplyDeleteLove the signs! I saw one in DC one time that read "We will prepare and serve you at the Nam Viet restaurant!" Scared to go in there! Thanks for coming by my blog and leaving a comment. I am delinquent in swinging by here, due to ....life. But I look foward to more. Regards, Melissa
Ha ha ha....love that last sign....oops! *snort*
ReplyDeleteRobyn-- Love you and sorry I've missed you--my Blogger has gone berserk too!
ReplyDeleteBut know that I LYMI--if you get this!
Hugs,
John
These last few posts were great. Thanks for the chuckle!
ReplyDeleteThanks Robyn! I love these posts! It's nice to get out and explore, you never know what your are going to find. Signs for one thing...
ReplyDeleteOld redundant signs make our town look shabby. I drive past them everyday and I don't notice them. It is only when I had an out of town visitor I realised it makes the town look neglected.
ReplyDeleteLol. I loved the middle one. Welcome to the redundant school of redundancy!! :)
