Hi, there, visiting from Friday Follow. I am brand new to this and also have a brand new blog at http://thriftycanucks.blogspot.com/ I am now your newest follower and look forward to your updates. Would love if you could drop by my blog.
I don't mind other people going under the scalpel, they still are acceptable to the eye - unless you're Jocelyn Wildenstein or Donatella Versace. I personally would have a few moles on my face removed with some laser surgery, but that's where I'd draw the line.
I used to think Cher was such a beautiful woman ....until she had plastic surgery. I would prefer my wrinkles to looking like my face is frozen. But heck, if that is what a woman wants to do, I say go for it.
I love that quote! I'm actually not against plastic surgery if it makes women look and feel better about themselves, but trying to be "perfect" is a fool's paradise.
My dear friends, your comments have given me much laughter. I don't mind her/his music that much in and of itself, but I think Gaga is a freak. I see I'm in good company.
Life, I totally respect that you like the Lady, and kudos to you for stating that. You're certainly not alone.
Trish and all, (s)he openly swings both ways. I'm beginning to wonder if (s)he is anatomically capable. As in, maybe Gaga is a man AND a woman.
Tgo, I agree. One surgery is different from changing every feature of a person. In this case, as with many stars who go under-the-knife, it further de-humanizes a de-human.
Beth, sorry it's been insane. Hope it gets better.
Coincidentally, I saw a fabulous music video spoof of the Lady - when I signed onto AOL just now. It's worthy of a post on its own. Please see next post. It'll take just a minute, and it's truly worth it. Gotta LOVE our troops!
