My Jeremy and Me
We're two peas in a pod, a pod with two peas.
I'm thinking of you when you're thinking of me.
Just now my phone rang as I wrote the word "me."
You chimed "Hi-Auntie-Robyn-'kay-bye" with such glee!
And when chocolate is near, nothing else do we see.
Two peas in a pod, my Jeremy and me.
Great stuff man. I've with Ms A, Jeremy sounds and seems adorable!
ReplyDeletePeas in a pod, dynamic duo, partners in crime… :)
ReplyDeleteYou both have delightful smiles. Love the hats!
You were made for each other!
ReplyDeleteAdorable! Both of you!
ReplyDeleteTwo cutie patooties!
ReplyDeleteToo bad you can't find a guy that cute who is older and not a relative.
ReplyDeleteThe cat gives a nod
ReplyDeleteTruly two peas in a pod
Could take a fishing rod
And go catch some cod
But then chocolate is easier to get though
So that's better to let flow
How sweet you two look.
ReplyDeleteAwe, so sweet I can almost taste the love and chocolate!
ReplyDeleteSweetest two peas in the pod ever!
ReplyDelete"Hi Auntie Robyn kay-bye" is just about the perfect call! And I bet you didn't even have to train him!
ReplyDeleteAwwww, so cute: the picture and your poem!
ReplyDeleteAh such a sweetie! I found you via your baby photo at Judie's! Good to meet you here. I hope your day is terrific!
ReplyDeletehe is so darn cute!
ReplyDeletelove that adorable photo!
MsA and Yeamie, he is. I'm biased, but if you met him you'd agree.
ReplyDeleteBeth, thanks. That was the visit during which he kept insisted I play the "mean pirate."
Alex, given his vicious love for chocolate, I'm sure of it.
BethZ and Anita, thanks!
Teri, yes and I'm laughing. Jeremy has a sweet little "girlfriend". They've been best buds for a couple years already.
Pat Hatt, it's chocolate at that. Way better than cod, so who needs the pod? Thanks for your rhyming comment again. I always enjoy them.
Ruth, thanks.
Stephen, we share love, but not chocolate. (I love that about him too.)
GB, he cracks me up with that line everytime. I start to say 'I love you/I miss you' but never have time.
Dreaming and Betty, I appreciate it.
Anne, thanks. It's great to meet a friend of Judie's.

Aww that is so sweet and I love the rhythm you've got in those 100 words!
ReplyDeleteso sweet. Just like one of my favorite AA Milne poems from my childhood, Two of Us: "Wherever I am there's always Pooh, there's always Pooh and me...."
ReplyDeleteOh Robyn,
ReplyDeleteI love this poem! It's simply beautiful. And so true! You two are like two peas in a pod!

What a beautiful little poem! I loved this and thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteSorry I have not been around. I was in the hospital and am just now getting back on track.

Thanks, everyone, for appreciating me and my Jeremy. When his mommy read it to him, Jeremy said it's "good" and that he loves me.
