Welcome to Chico, CA, a humble yet spirited tour destination for UnknownMami's
Sunday's in My City. As the year comes to an end, let's review some highlights
of our town mascot's fashionable attire. Which is your favorite?
Mother's Day (April)
Flag Day (June)
haunted horse
turkey-horse or horse-turkey
Santa horse
Thanks for visiting.
This cute little bearded dragon lizard and I wish you a peaceful end to 2012.
The horse does too!
I like the Mother's Day Hat and the lizard.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
ReplyDeleteYou know I love the horse.
My faves are Back to School, Turkey, and Santa. I think maybe it's TurkeySanta I love best.
Hehehehe
I find the Mother's Day hat most intriguing. I'd love to know which human mother wears a hat like that. I would gladly serve her iced tea in a butler's costume.
ReplyDeleteI agree that the Mother's Day hat is the clear winner. Cute photo of you and the lizard. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteJulie
I am going along with the Mother's day horse as well. Does the horse get dressed up for the New Year?
ReplyDeleteThat post was full of horse play.
ReplyDeleteI love these horse photos Robyn haha, all of these are amazing, love your town!
ReplyDeleteOur town had bears similar to your horses. I love how they were dressed up.
ReplyDeleteTurkey horse. No turkeys or horses were harmed in making that shot.
ReplyDeleteHave an awesome New Year's, Robyn!
And your book is wonderful. So glad I ordered it.
I've enjoyed seeing the various holiday and seasonal horse costumes. The turkey suit had me laughing out loud.
ReplyDeleteHope you and your family have a Happy New Year.
Thanks, everyone. I'm sorry - I had problems formatting this. (It took hours.) Somehow, the Back to School one didn't show up, and I can't believe I forgot the horse bunny! Oh well, I do agree the Mother's Day bonnet donning mascot is our clear winner.
ReplyDeleteAlex, I'm so glad. Thank you very much.
Love for a great New Year's.
xoRobyn
Happy new years! We have a cow here in town that changes with some seasons, but not as fun as your horse!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Years and that horse has a wardrobe that would make many a human jealous
ReplyDeleteI love that horse! I am in love with the turkey horse, although he looks handsome in all his fancy dress.
ReplyDeleteHappy 2013 to you, too, Robyn!
Our horse lives on a busy street. I'm surprised drivers manage to avoid accidents as they zoom past the parade of changing outfits.
ReplyDeleteCute posts.
Hard to pick the best one. I'm leaning toward the Mother's day one. If I leaned too hard would the horse support me?
ReplyDeleteNow there is a town in desperate need of a bowling alley.
ReplyDeleteKal, you are so good. I'm still laughing. Too bad it's too late to highlight that comment in my year's best. But it does need to follow these pictures.
ReplyDeleteBill, it's pretty sturdy and reliable. I'd say "yes."
Happy New Year, all.
Be safe.
xoRobyn
omg robyn!
ReplyDeletethose horses are too funny!
haha.
thank you for a delightful post!
big hugs.
Haunted Horse! Very nice. The closest thing we have around here is the Kook in Cardiff by the Sea.
ReplyDeleteLove the Santa horse. I was hoping this horse would make an appearance this holiday season. Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteI love that your town has a mascot-so charming. I have to go with the Mothers Day outfit. It's the hat that makes it perfect!!
ReplyDeleteHave a Happy New Year!
That horse always makes me smile. Wishing you all the best for a fantastic new year.
ReplyDeleteA gorilla riding a horse? Oh, game over. That took it before I even saw the rest.
ReplyDeleteI've always had lizards, but never a bearded dragon. I've got a pretty cool blue tongued skink, though.
Happy New Year!
The haunted horse is hands down the best one...but I loved them all. Great symbol for your town. Have a great New Years, Robyn.
ReplyDeleteOh I can't pick a favorite. That horse is a fashion plate and inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to go with Mother's Day or Thanksgiving. So hilariously awesome.
