Hi,
I'm sorry to leave you hanging with that last post. I ran out of time for part II, and I'm running off to go camping this weekend. In the meantime, I'm leaving you with a few photos:
Me and My Merchant Marine
My friend, Ron, is 7 feet tall. I am 4'8". We are standing on the same patch of dirt. He's a nice man, but we'll never see eye to eye.
Have a great weekend. I'll be back next week.
WOW is he tall! I'm short like you, but a little taller at 5'2".
ReplyDeleteDamn, he is almost double your size haha
ReplyDeleteHe's practically a giant but he does look like a nice guy.
ReplyDeleteHoly cow. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteAhahaha! It took me a second to get the Twins reference. Hilarious!
ReplyDeleteYour merchant marine is muy caliente!
Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteLove you, and your twin. You both have stunning smiles. Which obviously run in the family.
Your friend is a tall drink of water! Good things come in all sizes. :-) Enjoy your camping trip.
ReplyDeleteI'm so confused, Robyn. Is Ron your friend or your FRIEND? Was the name "Troy" just an alias for "Ron"? Help!
ReplyDeleteThat really is the long and the short of it.
ReplyDeleteHe should play for the Los Angeles Lakers.
ReplyDelete7 ft is tall. And you've left us on a cliffhanger... again. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Lol! I laughed when I saw the "twins" picture on your Facebook and I'm still laughing. That's awesome. Have fun camping!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your camping trip.
ReplyDeleteHey Robyn,
ReplyDeleteI've been struggling to keep up. So, I shall land on this post. No, not literally. *Splat!* :)
I bet you never say to Ron, "How's the weather up there?" Eye, eye, um yes, you would be correct.
I shall wait until next week for your return. Yep, the rest of the weekend staring at my computer screen. Have a peaceful rest of the weekend.
Gary :) x
Jo, ten points for the best comment! Good one.
ReplyDeleteDebra, no, Ron is not my friend "Troy." Ron is a friend/aquaintance I met recently. I looked at him and thought, "Damn, I bet that man is 7 feet tall." I was right. I met him when a friend of his (and mine) invited me to sit with them at an outdoor eatery/club. Ron bought a pitcher of beer that he shared with us.
My merchant marine, "Troy," does have another name, but we're calling him "Troy." He's about 5'10".
Thank you all for dropping by.
xoRobyn
Holy co he's tall! I'm only a few inches taller than you, so I'd look like a midget too next to Ron.
ReplyDeleteNow he is a man that would make anyone look short! Hope you had a great weekend away.
ReplyDeleteHi, friends.
ReplyDeleteRon is a very nice man. He didn't want to be in a picture; he's a bit shy. For HIS birthday, though, he reluctantly posed. That's how nice he is.
Hope you all had a great weekend.
xoRobyn
that was a good one. he could be the topic of some interesting conversations (that will remain nameless) - hahahaha. cheers robyn!!
ReplyDeleteWait a minute, this is a double leave us hanging post.
ReplyDeleteThat is a big size differential.

I really enjoyed being in your class on blogging about 2 weeks ago at CARD. You had a fabulous way of simplifying & introducing the "blogging" & "facebook" world into manageable bites for some of us "dummies" to digest. Your humor combined with your knowledge made me really want to start "launching"...so here I am. You were a great cheerleader, so thanks. Lizzie
