A May Day in Chico: Sundays in My City

UnknownMami hosts a lively worldwide party on Sundays. Through her blog, you can feast on amazing sights across the globe.

Hi, there. Thanks for arriving, even though I'm starting this tour a bit late. We're back in Chico, CA today for a stroll through downtown's Artisan Street Fair.

Card reads: "HAT'S $10.00" [The apostrophe is a bonus.]

We'll close with a slice of California's best, roses and a palm tree.

Have a wonderful new week!

  8. I LOVE that you always tell us where we are in your Sunday posts - - - goodness, the linky party IS Sunday in my CITY and I get so frustrated when I can't tell what city!

Love the hat's sign. And I intend the possessive there.

  10. What a beautiful sunny day you had for your celebration. It rained where I am but I drove to Taco Bell and bought a few tacos to celebrate. Your celebration looks better.

  13. What a lovely climate you have, Robyn. On a day like that, I would have bought a rainbow coloured hat and thrown it in the air.

  18. Keetha, well, thank's you. Apostrophe s intended. =)

Tara, street fairs are great. I agree. Thanks.

Stephen, sounds like you were resourceful, given the rain.

Darlene, palm trees always remind me (in a good way) of So. Cal where I grew up.

Gigi, thanks, my friend. Love backatcha.

GB, I was tempted, but didn't want to be stuck with too many hat's.

    Rosalind, consider yourself welcome anytime.

Pat, I don't remember any street fairs in Palm Springs, though I'd love to visit one there.

WC, me too. See comment to Darlene. And stained glass makes for a great picture. Doesn't it?

John, my dear, love you even more. I better stop before they start gossiping about us.

  19. Hi Robyn.
The Palm Springs street fair is EVERY Thursday night from 6 until 9. They shut down the entire stretch of Palm Canyon drive in downtown PS. It is really well supported and gets very crowded. Many food stalls, produce, crafts, music, art, etc... All the downtown restaurants make a killing on that night. I hope you can go sometime. It's been going for MANY years.

  20. Thanks, Pat. It sounds fantastic. I love Palm Springs and now I'm really wanting to get back there. You're there at a good time too. It's not scorching hot yet. (Right?)
