And now, dear world, please welcome Woman on the Verge of Paradise!
Book Dedication:
To the Readers of my blog, Life by Chocolate,
You have been unfaltering in your loyalty, caring,
encouragement, hilarity, and playfulness.
And so, my dear sillies,
This one's for you.
Lovingly.
She's 4 feet, 8 inches of heartfelt ferocity, and nothing can stop this post-pubescent spitfire from claiming her fairytale--not jarring tragedy,
not penile incompetence, not even the explosive demise of a new marriage.
not penile incompetence, not even the explosive demise of a new marriage.
Not until Robyn finds her happily ever after...alone.
She's an e-book and a paperback. Book link here.
Thank you for you patience, dear readers.
Please enjoy the Verge!
Yay!! I'm so excited!! I am going to order it as soon as I get off work tomorrow. I love the cover, it turned out beautifully. Congratulations, Robyn!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, BabySis. Bryan did a wonderful job with it, and so did the photographers. The bar is set high for me to not look like I just got out of bed (everyday, throughout the day). Smiles.
DeleteCongratulations Robyn! I'm over the moon excited for you!!! I am going to order it tomorrow and can't wait to read it!!! Love love love the cover! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, my friend. I kinda like it too. xo
DeleteWoo-Hoo. And huge congratulations.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your final touches, EC. It made all the difference.
DeleteBig congrats to you on your achievement. Best wishes!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Blogoratti. I appreciate it.
DeleteCongratulations, Robyn!!!!
ReplyDeleteNow, everyone go buy her book. Pronto!
Please, people. Alex says so!
DeleteLove you, Alex.
Congrats, Robyn! I'm on the road right now but will order a copy in mid-Audust when I'm back home again!
ReplyDeleteWonderful, Deb. I really appreciate it.

ReplyDeleteI so appreciate your post today, Joanne. You're a great efriend.
DeleteAwesome cover! Congratulations and I'm really looking forward to reading your book.
ReplyDeleteI think you'll enjoy it, JKIR. Thanks so much (in advance) for ordering.
DeleteWonderful cover. It fits you so well.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Diane. It makes me wanna walk around with a blue candy diamond, so people recognize me. Oh, plus chocolate smudges all over my clothes. Well, that's a given. I do it anyway.
DeleteCongratulations Robyn! I'm sooooo happy for you! And I can't wait to read it! Must order!
ReplyDeleteI feel your cheer from here JoJo. It means a lot.
DeleteThank you, dear sillies! I hope you enjoy the verge. =)
ReplyDeleteCongrats indeed at your sea. Awesome cover too. I'll be sure and read it at my zoo.
ReplyDeleteYou're awesome, Pat. Thank you.
DeleteBTW, I love your post today...just didn't have time to leave a poetic comment - will do that this eve. =)
Congrats you chocolate covered morsel! I have downloaded the book and am ready to read as soon as I can get away from this pesky day job.
ReplyDeleteAw, thanks so much, Mr. Jono. I hope you enjoy the verge. xo
DeleteCongratulations! I'm so excited to see your book finally released. May you get many sales, many reviews, many fans, and only a few troll reviews. I say a few because every great book has at least one incompetent, trollish review (that's how you know you made it). :)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to get that trollish review. Well, I can. But I'll hang onto your words in preparation.
DeleteThank you, treasured friend(s).
Oh wow! Congratulations to you and all the work you put into it. Will look into getting a copy on paperback. You deserve all the accolades
ReplyDeleteI appreciate you, BB! Hope it's worth the read. I think it is, but we know I'm biased. =)
DeleteWednesday when I get paid, I am buying your book. So proud of you. Love the cover. I am happy for you. :-)
ReplyDeleteYou're very sweet, Roland. Much gratitude.
DeleteCongratulations, Robyn! Such exciting news, and the cover is great! I can't wait to read it. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Daisy. I appreciate all your cheer.
DeleteCover photo is perfect. It's hard to look dignified in a chocolate-spattered wedding gown --I never do-- but you've managed it. My compliments and admiration.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember posing for it, Geo, and I couldn't replicate the look if I tried. I think it was one of the first photos taken, when I was thinking "WTF!?"
DeleteThank you for the praise.
Okay, so I ordered it. There better be a lot of pictures, or I'm going to be totally lost.
ReplyDeleteOh no, Chris. That's what he (all the he's in this book) said. LOL. Where's a GPS guide when you need it?
DeleteThank you so much for ordering it!!
Love your cover, and I was excited to see your book plugged on Alex Cavenaugh's blog.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Stephen. I'm glad you noticed.
DeleteCongratulations! I adore the cover.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
I placed my order; you can thank me later.
DeleteNah, I thank you NOW. I'm REALLY, REALLY grateful for each purchase. Woohoo! xo
DeleteI couldn't resist the cover. I must have it.
DeleteIt means a lot that you're confirming my investment (and Bryan's) in the perfect cover. We do and should judge a book by its cover! I'm pretty sure you'll like it too, Janie. Thank you. Hugs!
DeleteLove the final cover. Big congratulations on the book release and on being on Alex's blog. I hope you are celebrating.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rhonda. I'm going to have a big book launch in mid-Aug. That will be my celebration. But there's so much busy-work related to publishing...=)
DeleteBig congrats to you, Robyn!! I love the review and the cover. Wishing you a million successes!
ReplyDeleteIt means a lot to have folks I've never met before cheering me on. Thanks so much, PalmTrees!
DeleteOh. My. Gosh. How exciting! And the cover and the synopsis. Winner!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lux!
DeleteWoo Hoo! I'm truly very excited for you. I read an excerpt on Amazon and added you to my list of blog friends who have published books. I've got a lot of reading to do!! This is fabulous and I wish you much success with it.XX
ReplyDeleteThanks much, Bouncin Barb. I'm excited too, and appreciate your support.
DeleteThis is so exciting, Robyn! I'm so happy for you. And I'm honoured to be invited along on this journey. The review and the cover are both fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI kinda like the cover and reviews myself. Bryan did an amazing job. Thanks, Martha.
DeleteHuge congratulations, Robyn! Gosh, I don't visit your blog for a year and look what happens ;-) I promise not to leave it another year.
ReplyDeleteNo, we must both be more diligent about checking in with each other. Has it been a whole year? We've got some time to make up for. Thank you, Annalisa!
DeleteYay, Robyn! *tossed confetti* *eats cheese* *eyes chocolate* *hands chocolate to Robyn*
ReplyDeleteThank you, Crystal, for all the cheer and for giving me the chocolate. I hope it's good cheese. I loved the cocoa, of course. Smiles.
DeleteVery striking, stand out from the crowd cover, well done!
ReplyDeleteThank you kindly, Spacerguy. I hired the right person (Bryan Pedas). I really appreciate, and will reciprocate, the follow too. Made my morning! =)
DeleteWell hello, Miss FancyPants... :)
ReplyDeleteI hope a world of success finds you and your words... move, inspire and make 'em laugh!
Your Pal,
Jeremy
*Looking down at my...lack of pants right now...* It's 100+ degrees, and I'm alone at home sans pants. Hey, Jeremy, thanks so much for your fun-filled message. Sorry I didn't put fancy pants on for it. I don't have any.
DeleteYou're a good pal who never fails to make me smile. Thank you!
Wait, what?
ReplyDeleteWe're supposed to contribute a meaningful work to the world of literature????
After over 100,000 words...oh...crap.
Congratulations, pretty lady!
I dunno, Al. Some snobby author person living or dead must've said that - when still alive - right? Wait! You're a history buff. Nobody ever said it? Crap! 91,000 words of my darkest secrets! Where's the rewind button?
DeleteThanks, dear friend.
And...I just bought it. Because that's how I roll.
ReplyDeleteIt will be here in time for my camping trip on August 7th. I'd take you camping with me, but I strongly suspect there will be drinking involved. Goodness knows what could happen.
Hmm...you know, when I read that last line, it sounds a little creepy. Meh, I'll leave it in.
Oh...GOOD...GRIEF!!! "I'll leave it in"?????
Yeah, that's even creepier. I just better go read other blogs now.
My face is so red.
Well, alright then. You just leave it in while I take a nap. Oh, wait, I'm responding to you, Al. Sorry. Some words just spew naturally and out of habit.
DeleteYou're awesome and not a creepster, and I love ya for buying my book. Thanks so much. I hope you like it. There's even a camping scene in it, but thank you for not taking me/my book camping. Me + beer + s'mores = not a safe combination. You will have s'mores, yes? Which campsite is it?
You said "Spew."
DeleteAnd? We'll leave it at that.
You know, if you mix up those letters, Al, you get "pews." I wonder how many people have spewed in the pews...? I know a few who have. Church services are so boring - I hear. It's not as though we Jews have cornered the market on entertaining worship services. I'm guessing there's been some spewing in synagogue too. Ew.
DeleteIt's been a long time coming hasnt it Robyn. But its finally here. Hastag living the dream. Very proud of you dear and look forward to holding you in my hands. Er, I mean, holding the book.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel joyous in this wonderful time in your life.
xo
You got me excited for a moment, Anthony. Smiles. But I'm glad you look forward to holding my book...and an in-person hug is still a goal. Thanks so much. xo
DeleteFor sure! One day! xo
DeleteThat's a sulky sexy cover, Robyn! Expect marriage proposals or less virtuous propositions. :)
ReplyDeleteDo you think they'll involve chocolate, GB? I mean, of course I shall scoff of said propositions. I'm a proper* woman. Smiles.
Delete*? The jury is still deliberating.
Thanks, GB.
Super fantastic cover, Robyn! I am so happy for you! Isn't it so exciting to finally have it all come together? I'll be sharing on my social media for you! Promote, promote, promote. Now the real work begins ;)
ReplyDeleteHow generous of you! Much thanks, Theresa.
DeleteYeah, it takes much more time than I imagined it would - this promoting stuff. It IS exciting. It's weird too, because it's such a long process. It didn't seem to happen at any one point. Well, when I knew I had a book that needed a ton or revisions, that was glorious. That was also over one year ago. =)
I mean, when I KNEW I had something book worthy, despite the fact it needed smoothing out, I felt accomplished. [Just realized it didn't really make sense the way I wrote that.]
DeleteDear Robyn,
ReplyDeleteI can only begin to imagine how anxiously you've been waiting for one of my highly collectable comments to finally arrive at your blogging door. Thus, my lovely friend, wait no more! :)
Robyn, you are the epitome of determination. Indeed, your blogging friends may have been a catalyst. However, your passion for the written word and the celebration of positivity, resonates within this posting and the awesome news it brings.
Hearty congrats and thanks for the reveal. The reveal of your book cover! I shall now proceed and purchase your book.
I hope you remember shy, humble folks like me when you are super famous and doing the talk show circuit!
Hugs and congrats, once again, Robyn.
Gary :) x
Gary, you are a truly caring, genuine friend. Thank you so much for your words, and for buying the Woman.
DeleteWhen I bought a cute dress at a thrift store, the cashier agreed that it's cute, "But what will you wear it for?" I told her I planned to wear it at my book release party. She told me to not forget the little people. Then, I reminded her that I was buying a girls' size dress. I am a little person. That's to say, don't be silly. You're unforgettable. =)
