Welcome, My Sillies! Together we'll uncover morsels of sweetness in the light and dark. You'll crave chocolate. I'm a naughty influence. {Note: I avoid Hershey's but partake in regular fixes of fair trade and organic varieties.} Please enjoy a ravenous sampling, and may you fast become addicted. Cheers to all things sweet. That, Dear Sillies, includes you.
Wonderful! My fave highway sign is one for the town of Justice, Manitoba. That's all the little green sign says -- JUSTICE. I show my photo of it whenever anyone says there's no justice in this world.
Fun sign. There is a Memory Lane in my city that is a Dead End Street! A street that is a life lesson!! :-) Life had been chaotic and hectic of late, But I will read and review your book when life eases up on me/
How about Getouttamy Way? Longandwinding Road? Oneway Street? Mydrive Way (we actually have one of those). Speaking of streets. Picabo Street had a bad skiing accident and was rushed to the hospital. She was in Intensive Care for a week, but came through like the champion she was. She was so grateful for the care she got that she donated a large sum of money to the hospital. They revamped their Intensive Care Unit and renamed it "Picabo I.C.U."
I like the photo! Was never on Ididitmy Way but recall some convoluted roads around Chico, Magalia, Helltown and Paradise --Humbug and Nimshew Roads made a lasting impression that put rollercoasters to shame.
Nimshew?! Geo, it's amazing. There's now a remarkable Nimshew Park that one man created and maintains - with a zipline and all sorts of fun amusement. I think it's fairly new, so I'm assuming you haven't seen it. ??
Most awesome! I love it! If it were anywhere else in my police world it would read: IDIDDLEDITMY WAY. Ok. I put away too many sex offenders. My brain is fried.
Thank you, all. I think I need to live on that street, yet I didn't see any houses. It's more like a hidden, dirt path. When I stopped to take photos, it seemed as though I'm the only one who ever noticed and appreciated the sign. Besides possibly Sonatra. Smiles.
Did Frank Sinatra live on that street?
ReplyDeleteThat is a great street sign. Someone has a sense of humor!
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA that's awesome! I bet that sign gets stolen a lot.
ReplyDeleteIt could be a major tourist attraction. If I lived in that street I'd open the Ol' Blue Eyes Bar.
ReplyDeletethat is too perfect. Hopefully it does not lead to a cliff. That could be trouble. Have a good week
ReplyDeleteObviously someone got to name that one and had fun with it!

ReplyDeleteHahaha. That is awesome!! That must have been so neat for them to name a street!!
ReplyDeleteReally delightful indeed.

ReplyDeleteThat's a sobering metaphor, Roland. Don't drive too fast down Memory Lane. Smiles.
DeleteNo worries. Take care of yourself and getting to a more uplifting place. Thank you for stopping by to tell me that, though.
Sure beats Fangboner Road...
ReplyDeleteYou crack me up! THANK YOU!
DeleteBig smiles. A street I would like to live in, just for the postal address.
ReplyDeleteMe too, EC.
DeleteI would love to have an address like that. There must be a connection to that song or Frank Sinatra
ReplyDeleteThat's so special, Robyn!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite sign says, "Big Lick", for a small town near Frog Pond, NC.

Awesome story, Jono.
DeleteKeep a smile.

DeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteThe perfect street to live on, if you do it your way, you don't even have to mow the lawn
ReplyDeleteAmazing!!! Haha.
ReplyDeleteYes, it's a funny street name, but now I have that infernal song stuck in my head. Was that your goal, to song-slap us?
ReplyDeleteExactly, Pickleope Von Pickleope, because it's a small world afterall. =)
DeleteMost awesome! I love it! If it were anywhere else in my police world it would read: IDIDDLEDITMY WAY. Ok. I put away too many sex offenders. My brain is fried.
ReplyDeletePerfect, and perfectly perverse, MF. LOL.
DeleteThank you for the laugh.
Ha! Love it! Now I want to find that street.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree that I did indeed!! Love this.
ReplyDeleteI like it! :)

ReplyDeleteHA! I love that! :)
ReplyDeleteThat one is a pretty good find.
ReplyDeleteHa ha - that's great.
ReplyDeleteSo did you go thataway?
I always do, Anthony. And I always meander mindlessly. Well, maybe not always, but a bulk of the time. =)
DeleteI like that name but I also think my street has a pretty good name and when I give it to someone, they often laugh or ask if I'm serious...
ReplyDeleteWhat is it, Sage? Did you tell me already? If so, I don't remember.
DeleteEasy Street? Bored Walk? Walk This Way?
I want to live there! I tend to do it my way most of the time also. Perfect street name for me ;)
