After I read CassaStar, I confessed to Alex, author of this awesome sci-fi trilogy, that I had a crush on Byron. A protective, caring friend, Alex warned me that Byron isn't good relationship material. This got me thinking...What would Byron's personal ad look like had he joined match.com before meeting Athee? Something like this, perhaps?

This is the first and only sci-fi I've read. I LOVED CassaStar and CassaFire. CassaStorm was released yesterday! CONGRATULATIONS, ALEX! I can't wait to read it, though I'm still a tad jealous of Athee.

From the Amazon Best Selling
Series!
A storm gathers across the
galaxy…
Commanding the Cassan base on Tgren, Byron thought he’d put the days
of battle behind him. As a galaxy-wide war encroaches upon the desert planet,
Byron’s ideal life is threatened and he’s caught between the Tgrens and the
Cassans.
After enemy ships attack the desert planet, Byron discovers another
battle within his own family. The declaration of war between all ten races
triggers nightmares in his son, threatening to destroy the boy’s
mind.
Meanwhile the ancient alien ship is transmitting a code that might
signal the end of all life in the galaxy. And the mysterious probe that almost
destroyed Tgren twenty years ago could return. As his world begins to crumble,
Byron suspects a connection. The storm is about to break, and Byron is caught in
the middle…

This was so clever, and such fun to read Robyn! Though it was difficult to choose, "no eye contact" and the "trillion-mile high club" were my favorites! Who cares that Byron is already taken, living in another galaxy, and well just a fictional character?! The guy can spell! You've really hit the jackpot with this one Robyn!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Alex on having an extraordinary launch party!
Julie
I had to read this when I saw you did a post of Cassa Storm - love it!
ReplyDeleteAnd YAY, Alex! Hope he's partying it up this week :)
Robyn, that is hilarious!! No eye contact and out of this world... well, yeah, that would be Byron. Sorry, he's all Athee's now. Unless you two care to fight?
ReplyDeleteThanks Robyn and hope you enjoy the third one just as much. Thanks for taking a chance on space opera!
I might be tempted to read this....although Sci Fi has never been my fave genre. Congrats to Alex on such great reviews!
ReplyDeleteLOL, Byron was awesome until the no eye contact. :)
ReplyDeleteThe "pet peeves" are hysterical. In fact the whole profile was great...very clever.
ReplyDeleteLOL nice tion run or umm stop and start again, maybe there is performance issues
ReplyDeleteLOL - Byron sounds like a handful.
ReplyDeleteWell, I was hooked until I got to the no Candy Crush. Can't be with someone who doesn't get my aggravation over that game ;)
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Alex on the new book release!
Ha! He sounds like a real catch!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Alex on the new book.
How exciting that there are still unknown regions in the galaxy to touch down on. It just goes to show that the big telescopes haven't uncovered everything.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love how you promoted Alex's book, Robyn. This was fantastic.
ReplyDeleteMany well wishes to Alex!! Rock on!!
Too funny! I got my copy of Alex's book yesterday. I'm looking forward to reading it!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Alex! Cassa Storm looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome way to promote the book Robyn, really made me laugh!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had a vivid enough imagination to write science fiction.
ReplyDeleteHa! Very clever.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog. :)
Hey Robyn,
ReplyDeleteI see that the ninja dude's tour has made it to your incredible site.
And congrats to Alex who is not on 'Farcebook', yet he still ends up on there. Amazing stuff :)
I'm going now because my clone's batteries need charging. And no innuendos!
Gary :) x
I love the add for a partnership match ! You are such a funny girl x
ReplyDeleteJulie, you are right. He can spell. Ding, ding, ding! We have a winner!
ReplyDeleteAlex, I'm thinking about it. I'd cut a b*tch for a good man.
Theresa, sorry. Byron is way too smart for Candy Crush. He doesn't understand what the point is, and he got to level 100 in two minutes, then tossed the game out into the black hole.
Pat, I think so. He may need the blue pill.
Thanks, all, as we applaud Alex's take-off to new heights.
xoRobyn
Hahaaha.... You are so quick witted. I wish I could come up with some of the things you do.
ReplyDeleteThis was awesome and absolutely hilarious. Any woman that doesn't want some out-of-this-world penetration in the trillion-mile high club with Byron is either gay or lying to themselves.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy your brushes with celebrity. This was FUN! YOU are fun. Great way to get the word out on Alex's book.
ReplyDeleteM.L. Swift, Writer
I just came over to check out your blog since you did the same on mine. I'm adding you to my blog read on Bloglovin.
ReplyDeleteI love that Match.com ad for Byron. Very funny. It had me laughing.
Very funny Robyn!
ReplyDeleteI'll be reading it in a few days when we get home!
You are so fun n' clever! I love this Robyn :D
ReplyDeleteYes, cheers to Alex!
Awesome post for Alex. Very clever personal ad. CassaStar was also the first Sci-fi I read and I loved it too.
ReplyDeleteLol. I like your ad for him. I've never read the books, but it seems appropriate. I'll have to add them to my books to read when I'm done with this semester. :)
