Sundays in My City, Colors

Unknown Mami is our weekly party hostess extraordinaire. Visit her site here to appreciate scenes from across the globe. Hopping from city to city always leaves me feeling privileged to be here in blogland.

Welcome back to Chico in Northern Cal, a colorful city, where you can find

     RED LEAVES,

an ORANGE TREE WITH NO FRUIT,

and an EVERYTHING AUTO.
Where has June gone? We've one week left.

May yours be filled with pleasant colors.

  1. Great photos! I have no idea where June went. I wanted to get so much done, but the month went by in a blink of an eye.

  2. That's a busy paint job on that truck!

  3. You are SOOOOO right about how QUICKLY June has deserted us!

The colorful auto reminds me of the "taxis" in Haiti - - - which they called tap-taps. They were ALL painted with bright primary colors. Vivid prints all over them.

  4. The clouds are blocking out the sunshine here in Oregon so I love the sunshine in your pictures.

  5. Hey, hasn't the weather the last two day been terrific?

  6. That car belongs in the psychedelic age. Do you think the owners are ex-hippies

  7. Does that vehicle belong to a zoo or something? And I've never seen an orange tree before!

  15. Christine, I know. Just one last smidgen of June left. Thanks for visiting.

MsA, it's pretty intricate. My photo doesn't do it justice.

Keetha, that's a neat comparison. I'd like to take a tap-tap in Haiti.

Stephen, stop by anytime for some CA sun.

IT, yes, it's been PERFECT. Glad you're enjoying it too.

GB, I think the owners are current hippies. There are lots around here.

Alex, I don't yet know the story behind that car. I never saw an orange tree like that either.

Ames, I really don't know but I do wonder. Will see if I can find out.

Del King, time keeps zipping by. Thank you for taking the time for Life by Chocolate.

GADAFINY, I agree and I appreciate your visit. Nice to meet you here.

Dawn, darlin', a great week to you too.

Pat, I imagine so. It's more detailed than it appears in this photo.

Betsy, thanks. Maybe June will slow down during its final days..?

  22. June is almost gone! We're still waiting for some heat down here. It's been so mild. I like it, but a little more heat would be nice for a bit...
