Welcome back to my spunky hometown, Chico, CA.
Our local mascot is all dressed up and ready for fireworks.
This car might not run well, but I bet the windshield wipers work great.
Thanks for visiting.
Would you like some chocolate cake?
Happy Sunday, happy new week, happy July!
I hope you enjoyed your cake. If it's wheat-free I would love some. I'd love the wheat kind too, but I'd end up with wheat guilt followed closely by wheat regret.
ReplyDeleteThat's a sad end for any motor vehicle! No cake for me, Robyn, but I wouldn't mind a little piece of icing.
ReplyDeleteYes, please!
ReplyDeleteThat car just needs a little spit and polish right?
ReplyDeleteWould love cake but am allergic to chocolate...
ReplyDeleteYes please to the cake and the car picture made me chuckle.
ReplyDeleteMollyxxx
Seems like a really good day to me Robyn, I love that last photo of you baking, here's hoping it was delicious, I'm so jealous I didn't get to try some haha.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday and July! Have a wonderful 4th!
ReplyDeleteHappy July to you, too, Robyn. And oh yes, I'd love some chocolate cake too. Looks yum!
ReplyDeleteThere is an abandoned car in a compound near our place. If it ever went away, we'd miss it. It has been there for years :D
Can't say the cat likes cake, maybe the mascot will shoot the fireworks off too? He has quite the umm gazoo haha
ReplyDeleteI love old cars, especially junkers like that one.
ReplyDeleteIs it July already? Yes, I'll have some cake please.
ReplyDeleteRuth, I'm still enjoying it. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteGB, it IS all about the icing. Isn't it?
MsA, good. Someone else has to keep me from finishing the whole thing.
Wayne, good response. I think you're right, though it looks as though spit was applied. Hey, it just needs polish.
Heather, so sorry. But I'm sure you're a much healthier woman than I am.
Molly, glad to offer. Wish I really could, actually. I walk by that car often and can't help but chuckle.
YW, thanks. Good to see you back.
Formerly, thank you. Wishing you and yours the same.
Vidya, funny how we get attached to things like rusty old abandoned cars. Thank you.
Tara, junkers ooze personality and drawn on our sympathies.
Sarah, hard to believe. Isn't it? Please help yourself.
Be well, everyone. A sweet July to you.

ReplyDeleteIt's the month for my birthday.
And the 4th of July.

I would love some chocolate cake! Please! I'm glad to see that the horse is keeping up with the calendar.
ReplyDeleteI would love some chocolate cake but every time you send me some it gets "lost" in the mail. I will just buy my own and not share.
ReplyDeleteKeetha, I was awaiting his patriotic showing, to post a picture for SIMC. I drove by a few times - didn't want to disappoint.
ReplyDeleteAl, happy birthday. I hope you'll enjoy chocolate cake and swim time and other good stuff.
Stephen, done. Thankfully for me, the part without calories costs nothing (in time or money) to ship.
Laurie, he is indeed a spirited horse.
Nutschell, it's delicious for b-fast, lunch, dinner, and snack time.
Pat, the horse is better organized than many humans.
PTM, every time? I think the postal workers are intercepting it and laughing about how that Powdered Toast guy never gets his chocolate cake. It's rude but who can blame them?
