Dear Sillies,
Some dim witted folks somewhere decided to call today, November 3, National Stress Awareness Day. Yeah, we need this like a hole in the head, am I right? Stress awareness? Who ain't aware? Those under the most stress, I'm thinking.
Suffice it to say that I hope you've had a relatively LOW STRESS start to November and that it continues the same.
Here are some recent memories from last month's shenanigans~
I competed in a local comedy competition. I lost but got this nice pic.my covid warrior with his leprechaun
Have a safe and peaceful, low stress month. Damned be stress.
Love you.
That is a great photo of you!
ReplyDeleteIronic Stress Awareness Day comes in during NaNo...
OMG, Alex, I forgot about NaNo. Stress Awareness indeed!
DeleteNational Stress Awareness Day? Oh dear god. Are there greeting cards? Great photos.
ReplyDeleteHaha. Great question, Mitchell. Those greeting cards would likely be impossible to open, full of scrambled words, or otherwise stress inducing.
DeleteThanks, friend.
That is a wonderful photo of you - and the next one is pretty good too.
ReplyDeleteI think that for those of us under stress EVERY day is stress awareness day. It doesn't need a special day of its own.
I know, that's what I'm saying. Can we please not recognize stress? Oy vey. Sorry for pointing out that it's stress awareness day, EC.
DeleteHugs and love.
A GREAT photo of you with the microphone and a FUN photo of the two of you!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Debra.
DeleteI didn't know about that! Now I'm going to be all stressed out waiting for 11-3-2022!
ReplyDeleteOy vey. At least, we only need to be all stressed out one day a year, Mike (?)
DeleteCheers and keep the stress at bay.
fun pics and good post.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Joanne.
DeleteThey were fun times.
That is an awesome photo. Keep at it, you'll be winning soon!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Elizabeth.
DeleteI hope so. I'm competitive.
Cheers.
yesterday wasn't too stressful... nice pic of you doing comedy!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jeff. Glad the stress wasn't bad.
DeleteYou look festive!
ReplyDeleteI felt festive, Diane.
DeleteHope you had a fun Halloween.
Sounds like you had fun.
ReplyDeleteYeah, stress is no fun at all.
Not in the slightest, Mary.
DeleteBut it's always a good excuse to eat chocolate.
Here it is the closing hour of Guy Fawkes Day. Strange firecrackal noises. California, of all places remote from gunpowder plots, I'm hearing reports in the dark. Stress? What is it with drive-by cherrybombs, backfires(?) and modified mufflers near midnight. These holidays are promulgated by the STRESSED!
ReplyDeleteYou're right, as always, Geo. Who but the most insanely stressed (emphasis on "insanely") wants to celebrate stress? Oy vey.
DeletePeace and love, dear man.
Hi Robyn!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great photo of you!! When I heard about "Stress Awareness" day or whatever they are calling it, I had the same reaction. Like, really? We need to be made "aware" of such a thing? Pssht! Get outta here with that ridiculousness. Sadly, my November has not started out so great. But ever the optimist, the month can only get better -right? Right. :)
Yes. It can and will only get better.
DeleteHugs to you, my friend.
