Elizabeth Seckman's Ode to the Battery!

Happy Pro Self Love Day, week, year, lifetime, my Dearest Silly Hearts!

Happy Day before ridiculously priced waxy cheap chocolate with the most ugly of stuffed animals and nearly dead flowers get knocked down to 1/2 and 3/4 off, my Dearest Silly Hearts!

Happy Day in which...
 WE HAVE A WINNER!!

Ode to Batteries
Rayovac, Duracell
Powered up they’ll ring the bell
Energizer, Eveready
Won’t even ask that you wear a teddy

My good friend, Elizabeth, will receive a wonderfully sweet package. No batteries included. I take it, you're stocked up, Elizabeth.

Much love to you all.

LOVE YOURSELF publicly, privately, first, last and always.

You are all you have - besides your hand (that's a little, or not so little, nod to Pat Hatt) and batteries!

  4. I missed the voting, but that is just as well. You had so many fun and creative entries, it would have been a difficult choice to make. Congratulations to Elizabeth! Happy Valentine's day to you and your readers, Robyn. Hope chocolate made it into your day.

  7. I purchased a heart-shaped pizza for my son (who was delighted) and received little wooden roses from my students (sold in our cafeteria, which was great until students were getting left out and had hurt feelings because no one bought them any). It's hard to know what good intention could turn into heartache for kiddos the age I am teaching. BUT I am glad you have a prize winner here, and I hope you have a lovely day!

    1. Oh, that's sweet and sad, Rosey. But I'm glad your students gave you little wooden roses. You deserve it and much more.
      Thanks for dropping by.
I hope you have a lovely day/week yourself.
