More Horse Play: Sundays in My City

Hi, friends. As you know, Unknown Mami hosts an extraordinary weekly party. Visit her site here to appreciate scenes from across the globe. It's a small blog world, afterall.

Our town mascot is looking rather summer-y.

Have a simply cool Sunday and new week, as we trot into August.
Thanks for visiting!

  3. Glad you noted the middle one was a real horse, as you've taken photos of the town mascot so often, I wouldn't know the difference.

  4. I just love your town mascot horse and he (she?) is very dapper in summer garb.

  5. I guess it is a town that likes horsing around...

  6. Love the grass skirt and shades. A sun hat would be a nice summer accessory too.

  7. Whoo! Cool shades. Horses look so regal!Nicely dressed, too! :D

  8. MsA, on a person, a grass skirt is a bit odd. On a horse, pure fun.

YW, yeah, he/she well represents the town. Thank you.

Del King, a horse's life doesn't look so bad from here. Be well.

Alex, it is hard to tell the difference even for me - though I took the photos.

Keetha, yes, he/she's a spunky, dapper one. Thanks.

Wayne, we do our share of horse play around here. I appreciate your visit.

Tara, a sun hat would complete the picture. Maybe he/she thought that would ruin the ensemble.

Vidya, "regal" is an accurate word for horses, especially this one in bright green-framed shades.

    Be well, everyone.
Thanks for visiting us in Northern Cal.

  9. I prefer fake horses that get dressed up for various occassions.

  10. Leave it to that horse to come up with an outfit appropriate to every occasion!

  11. At least the fake don't leave anything to clean up hahaha but both look stylin.

  19. Unknown, me too. Thanks.

Pat, he IS the most spirited horse I've ever seen.

PatH, true. That's probably the most definitive way to tell the difference. I'm glad I don't need to confirm which are real, which are fake.

Chuck and Yvonne, yep, he's one cool horse.

Stephen, Chico summers -in particular- call for as little garb as possible.

PTM, I asked for one, but he/she just said "ney." I took that for a "no."

FV, thank you. I'm glad you love it. I do too. He/she's the talk of the town.

NotSoSimply, they really are beautiful, calming animals. Thank you.

BabySis, he gives it his all. And no worries about typos. I do it all the time.

    Be well, everyone.
